MG Productions was founded by Matthew Gibson, a singer/songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina. Throughout his singing career, something that he repeatedly noticed was the disconnect between DJs, live performers, and event planners. Each host has a vision of what their event should look like and how they want everyone in attendance to feel. But with all of the moving pieces, that vision can easily get lost in the mix. Oftentimes a quick soundcheck at the venue just isn’t enough to produce a high quality performance. There are key components such as audio mixing, lighting, song selections, and quality amplification. If one of those areas are lacking, it can create awkward moments, and throw off the tone of the entire event.
